Rural Education

Being a priority of our organization to offer greater educational opportunities to children of the rural areas, the Wong Foundation has established a school network, located in the Provinces of Los Ríos, Pichincha, Cotopaxi and El Oro, where approximately 2,600 children receive free education.

To facilitate a better academic performance, the educational centers receive support in the following areas: Training, assistance, and intensive and permanent supervision to teachers; construction and physical improvement of school facilities; yearly supply of instructive material; library; gardens; shoes given to children; and light meals provided for children during school hours.
